I recently have started playing with my motor shield and have come across a problem that I don't know how to solve. Using the example code for a DC motor shown on the quickstart page, I can get the motor to spin in one direction but not the other. I reverse which wire goes into which terminal and the motor only span in the opposite direction, so I don't think the problem is with the motor itself, more likely the program or the board itself. If it helps I am powering a 12v motor through a 9v battery. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong or how to fix it that would be greatly appreciated!
