Driver

Post by Alan » Tue Oct 23, 2018 6:50 am

Hi,
I'm having problems loading the driver for the Stepduino. I have downloaded the driver and unzipped it to a folder. There are only two files, one a security file and the other a Notepad file. Is the Notepad file the driver?
I plugged in the Stepduino and looked in the devices folder where it appeared as an "Unknown Device". When I right click on it, it doesn't give me the option to "Update Driver" but only lets me go to an automatic troubleshooting mode which can't find the driver.
I'm clearly doing something wrong but I'm stuck. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Alan

Hi,
I've figured it out. I was right clicking on the "Unknown Device" in the Devices and Printers folder instead of the Device Manager folder.
