Hi, I’ve just received a Freetronics EtherMega and OLED128 display.
With the OLED running the ethernet port port will not function. Unplugging the display the Ethernet port starts working again.
I have updated the OLED library with the latest from the Freetronics github page, to no avail.
I have tried using Jon’s Superhouse switch controller code with these and a basic version using just Ethernet and the OLED, but is still does not work. They appear to be incompatible with each other.
Any help much appreciated.

Re: OLED128 and EtherMega
HI all,
Finally found the reason my OLED and Ethernet wouldn't work together. It appears USB does not provide enough power to run both. Just discovered a plug pack into the DC jack solved my Ethernet issue.
Cheers, Bill

Re: OLED128 and EtherMega
There are quite a few posts on this forum warning about just that problem.
You should not rely on USB power to run anything other than the basic Arduino.
Always power your 'extras' from a reliable source.
