433MHz Receiver Shields + Arduino UNO help

Hi,

I new on Arduino and on my hand, got one 433Mhz receiver shield and one arduino UNO.

Is it work with just combine two of them? And i try use VirtualWire code to receive 433MHz signal from another 433Mhz trasmitter but got no result.

Please help. Thanks.
