Weather stations for gardener (Need Help)

My father is a gardener and he need to buy a weather station for knowing weather update. I have no idea about weather station.
Can anybody please tell me which weather station is best for gardener?

Which weather station did you choose, and how does your father like it? I found another list of top weather stations to cross reference and it looks like many of the same models on it.

I was thinking about getting the Ambient Weather WS-2902 model. Any chance that's the one you went with? I'd like to talk to someone that has experience with it and can confirm it's good for gardening!
