Sydney hacker space?

Post by MikZ » Fri Nov 04, 2011 2:37 am

And while I'm on the topic of Aussie resources: I miss living within a few blocks of Noisebridge in San Francisco. Does anybody know of a good space in Sydney with forums and tools for hackers and maker geeks? What are your experiences with them?

MikZ.

Check out Robots and Dinosaurs:

http://robodino.org/

I haven't been there personally, but I've met a few R&D members and they seem like a very switched-on bunch.

I went to their Halloween party last night. They're not quite Noisebridge but a very valuable resource nevertheless and every bit as much fun to hang out with. I'll be signing up with them for sure. Thanks for the reference, Jon!

hi All,

A list of most of the Australian HackerSpaces ... http://hackerspaces.org/wiki/Australia

Typically, they are all good places to hang-out with like-minded people ... and learn about Arduino, etc.
