NeoPixel sender for a long cat5

Post by back_ache » Wed Jan 22, 2014 1:29 pm

I am currently playing with 1 metre NeoPixel / WS2811 strip as part of my home automation project.

I am thinking what would be useful would be to control and power the neopixel from the end of a long cat5 but that might not work as the signaling and power are at 5v and the signaling isn't balanced , you could even include a 3.3v to 5v converter (for controllers like mine that signal at that level).

:ugeek:
