Terminal shield with Molex power connectors

Post by richii » Wed Jan 04, 2012 7:23 am

I replied to @freetronics the other day, but just to get it written down and "official" :-)

A rev to the Terminal Shield that has a Molex 8981 connector (or two) to be able to supply +5 and +12 to whatever we're building would be kinda cool.

Even cooler, a rev to the Eleven and EtherMega boards to add a Molex connector to both power the board itself and attached devices. Could be handy for powering those big strings of pixels as well as the uC from ye olde AT power supply that everyone has lying around.

Just for those who may not know what that is, it's the ubiquitous standard 4-pin 5V/12V PC hard drive power connector. :)
