Sorry for the delay. The new Raspbian release helped me out as well. The pileven-installer.sh script is now updated for Raspberry Pi 3 on the latest Raspbian (should work with older Raspbian as well, but we recommend this month's release.)

Note that enabling PiLeven will disable the internal Bluetooth interface on Pi 3. You can use both together, with some caveats. See here for details:

Has anyone got these working together?
I tried 2 new RPi3's and 2 new PiLeven boards, neither worked.
When trying to load a sketch, all I get is...
avrdude: ser_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00
... repeat 10 times...
Went over the install a few times, changed perms on the tty, nothing...

So, is this a bad batch that they are trying to get rid of, or are they just screwing their customers?
Either way, I don't think I'll buy their goods again.

It looks like we may have had some bad boards slip through QA. If you're using the latest software and your PiLeven still doesn't respond, please email email@example.com
and let us know what you've tried.
We'll get everyone up and running (with new hardware if necessary) ASAP.
