Project 60 (p.340)

Recently purchased an Etherten & even as a relative noob, had it running on the Arduino web server example code in no time flat! An excellent product!! Not too happy on Vin = 12V, tho!
Then tried the amended code as shown on p.340 & all was well until 'client.print("Connection: close"); - & it did; restored by commenting that line out.
Have I goofed somewhere?

Glad you are finding success. What do you mean by "Not too happy on Vin = 12V"?

Sorry - should have made that a little more clear. The on-board voltage reg. seems to run a bit hot - will try Vin @ 7.5V.

Ah. The regulator (and the W5100) will run warm and this is normal, however you're right in that 7.5V will be cooler.

Yep - much cooler, running on your 28V reg board @ 7V; thanks for another great Freetrhonics product!
