maximum sd card capacity?

I have just bought an Etherten that I intend to use for logging data from my solar panel inverter. I want to be able to log a fair bit of data, the idea is to use the etherten as a low power data logger and offload the data in a batch to a PC on an infrequent basis. Given this I want to have as much storage capacity as possible.

I have had a look at the Etherten schematic and it looks like the 5/3.3V level shifting is done with a resistive divider. From a bit of a search others have had problems with signal rise times with a resistive divider which meant that they were limited to using SD cards, not SDHC. Is this the case with the Etherten? Would I be able to use a SDHC for storage or am I limited to a 2Gb SD card?
