EtherTen PoE

Purchased & installed two(2) PoE daughterboard's.

One is running as I expect no issue and running with very little heat.

The second is running very hot and keeps getting hotter and hotter until I shut it down after reaching an internal temp of 50+ deg C .

I have tried several different sketches, all the same result. Currently running a sketch that just reports the internal temp.

Any ideas as too what may be the issue, I have checked the voltages on the board, all look to be correct.

Anyone experienced anything like this before?

If I get no good leads I will move it to another EtherTen.

Thanks in advance.

You do not provide enough details to allow people to offer much help.
- no idea what PoE board you are using
- no idea of what is actually getting hot
- no idea of how you have them set up
- does the problem stay with the PoE board if you swap them over?
- have you double-checked all your wiring?
- have you double-checked voltages?
- have you checked the current being drawn?
