Problem with programming motors

Hey guys so I have my arduino and H-bridge motor shield connected to each other. I am having a problem with getting the motor to run with the example program freetonics provide on their website.

Set up: Image

Example code provided from freetonics is the one listed at the very bottom of the page: http://www.freetronics.com.au/pages/hbr ... zlm7fl96wU

So I would like to know how come my motor is not running? The motor is a 3-7.2v dc. It should be noted that, when I used the original arduino motor shield and not the H-bridge one, the arduino motor shield would make the motor run. However with the h-bridge, I cannot seem to get it running. Any ideas?

Biri,

From the picture it looks like you are powering off the USB connection. It is very likely that the motor drive is overloading the limited current capability of the USB port.
Try using a decent external power supply with sufficient current capability.
