I bought the 128×128 OLED screen from you, and I want to use with Raspbian on Pi 3 B model, like here, http://www.freetronics.com.au/pages/ole ... EBWZvkrL1d
I just start to try the setup, but after the first step,
Code: Select all
sudo wget https://raw.github.com/Hexxeh/rpi-update/master/rpi-update -O /usr/bin/rpi-update
sudo chmod +x /usr/bin/rpi-update
sudo REPO_URI=https://github.com/notro/rpi-firmware rpi-update
The Pi can’t boot anymore, after the logo everithing was black :/
Can anyone help me?
Thank you very much!

I have the same issue
Can someone please help?
I didn't wire up the oled128 with the pi yet. Just using my usual HDMI display. Does that matter?

Yeah I think something happened around the Stretch edition of Raspbian. I'm slowly working out what the changes are, but one thing I've done is disable the HDMI and Audio via the /boot/config.txt file (as well as enabling SPI via that) which seems to improve things.
Still haven't worked out why the fbtft_device module won't auto load, but I've got it happening manually so that's something.
