I'm trying to get the SD card on the OLED128 working with an Adafruit HUZZAH ESP8266 - https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-fea ... h-esp8266/
1] 5V -> 3V
2] GND -> GND
3] SD CS -> Pin 2
4] SD CD -> -
5] MISO -> MISO/14
6] MOSI -> MOSI/13
7] SCK -> SCK/14
8] OLED CS -> Pin 16
9] OLED DNC -> Pin 0
10] OLED RST -> Pin 15
I have the OLED working perfictly using the ESP8266 hack - viewtopic.php?f=37&t=6471
Following the SD Card thread (viewtopic.php?f=37&t=5491) I'm using "standard dupont" jumpers, cut down to about 10cm. I think there was also mention of using better quality cables, so I thought I'd use some Cat5 for everything but the power. Another thought I had was noise from the ESP8266 interfearing with the comms to the SD, so the Cat5 may help there (or even shielded Cat6).
I do have an Eleven that i'm yet to test with, however cable length will probably grow.
Does any one have any other ideas?
On a side note, has anyone got the SD to work with a raspberry pi? (that's my other option)
