Bad Led

Post by Geoffro » Sun Sep 08, 2013 7:38 am

Hi, just got my cube and set it up without a problem, all examples run well but I did notice one of my leds will not go white. It will go red, blue, yellow... but when it plays a full white cube one of them is an off colour, so I am assuming it is just a bad led, 1 out of 64 can't complain really. Luckily have a spare that came with my starter kit so will replace with that.

is this a common thing?

Like any mass-produced item, you'll get one in a few thousand or so that don't pass muster.
