Was tinkering with my new kit using the arduino-1.0.5-macosx software, until things turned sour when twice my Mac crashed spectacularly during upload.
By Mac crashed spectacularly during upload I mean restarted, but to a grey screen, and a manual restart was further required by me.
Macs are not meant to do that.
In the past Apple 2 based computers would, but for a Mac to do this means something is really wrong with the arduino-1.0.5-macosx software.
Thoughts?

We can crash a Mac if we try, however that shouldn't happen.
Arduino IDE v1.0.6 was released the other day, give that a try:
