Fed up with writing one-off sketches - this is for you

Post by gramlord » Sat Jun 08, 2013 11:26 am

Hi all,

I've recently acquired an Experimenter's Kit, and am having a great time trying things out.

I've come up with a simple way of reading and writing pins without the need to write separate, individual sketches - PinControl ...

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/762 ... l-v1.0.ino

You load this onto your Arduino, start the Serial Monitor in the A's IDE, and type commands to set pinMode's, write to pins, read from pins, and control servos.

All very simple stuff. There's no doubt this has been done before but I couldn't find
any code. Well, I did find a previous attempt but the commands were terrible (for
humans to enter).

All comments welcome.

Cheers,
Graeme.

Gee whiz! For somebody new to this stuff, you certainly write some serious code!
Maybe you can help me :) , but I will post a new topic.
