There is a remarkably parallel conversation going in in the adjacent forum topic, about isolating D11 to allow knock detection with the Piezo!

Check out this very helpful post by @geekscape:

Just do what Andy suggests there, but instead of jumpering to an analog input for knock detection (as he suggests) jumper to a PWM output.

I wasn't sure if that other advice would still apply if the Piezo was being written to from another pin instead of being read from.

I can only get
3,5,9,10
to output PWM

using the Fade Sketch on the IDE and changing the pin.

any ideas?
