Extra Lines of LEDs when displaying numbers

Post by shogun » Thu Aug 11, 2016 1:24 am

Hi,

I am using a single 32x16 DMD as a simple counter. When a button is pressed, the display starts counting up from 00 to 01, 02, 03 etc.

On some numbers there are extra LEDs shown to the sides of the number. See attached pic for reference.

Does anyone know how to remove these extra lines?

Thanks

Because you only clear the screen in 'Case 0:' in your switch statement in drawSecond(). You are left with a bit of whatever was there before in the other cases.
