Arduino Mega Pin Assignment

Hi,

My first project is build with the Arduino Uno but now i need more ram so i tried the Leonardo but as you told me in a different thread it didn't work now. So i buyer now a Mega and it didn't work is there another Pin assignment as on the Uno?

Hi LordN1kon,

There are some different pin assignments for some things, for example SPI and i2c. Can you please explain exactly what you're connecting where, and perhaps post your sketch?

I connected it this way:

GND -> GND
noe -> Pin 9
A -> Pin 6
B -> Pin 7
CLK -> Pin 13
SCLK -> Pin 8
R -> Pin 11

that works pretty well on the Uno and Nano but not on the mega so whats my fault?

Hi LordN1kon,

The SPI pins move on the Mega, unfortunately.

There's a table under "Connections" here

What you can do is:

Move pin 11 to pin 51.
Move pin 13 to pin 52.

Leave other pins the same.

Shouldn't need to change any settings in your sketch, I don't think.
