Failed to compile

Post by Tunaone1 » Thu Aug 10, 2017 1:48 am

Hi, I am a newbie on the DMD and also on the Arduino.
I have this error on compiling the Dot_Matrix display

Arduino: 1.8.3 (Windows Store 1.8.6.0) (Windows 10), Board: "Arduino/Genuino Uno"

In file included from sketch\DMD.cpp:26:0:

sketch\DMD.h:52:2: warning: #warning CHANGE THESE TO SEMI-ADJUSTABLE PIN DEFS! [-Wcpp]

#warning CHANGE THESE TO SEMI-ADJUSTABLE PIN DEFS!

^

In file included from C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\Dot_matrix\Dot_matrix.ino:18:0:

sketch\DMD.h:52:2: warning: #warning CHANGE THESE TO SEMI-ADJUSTABLE PIN DEFS! [-Wcpp]

#warning CHANGE THESE TO SEMI-ADJUSTABLE PIN DEFS!

^

libraries\DMD2\DMD2_Timer.cpp.o (symbol from plugin): In function `__vector_13':

(.text+0x0): multiple definition of `__vector_13'

sketch\TimerOne.cpp.o (symbol from plugin):(.text+0x0): first defined here

collect2.exe: error: ld returned 1 exit status

exit status 1
Error compiling for board Arduino/Genuino Uno.

This report would have more information with
"Show verbose output during compilation"
option enabled in File -> Preferences.

How do I resolve this problem? Thanks

I finally got it to work after deleting the old file and reload the files again.

Do not know the actual root cause.
