Best weather station to buy for 433 receiver shield?

315MHz and 433MHz wireless connections are very commonly used by consumer electronics including weather stations, home automation remote controls, power consumption meters, car alarms, and also many DIY projects.

Best weather station to buy for 433 receiver shield?

Post by mikejharper » Wed Feb 29, 2012 7:21 pm

Hello everyone,

I'd love to be able to create my own application for receiving local weather data for a final year University Project. I'm studying computing, so electronics is not one of my strong points, however for my project to work I would need to by-pass the weather receiver module and create my own software.

I'd like to know the easiest to configure receiver + weather station, does the book provide all the information I need?

Many thanks,

Mike

FYI i've bought a Jaycar Weather Station (Digitech), Cat No XC0348.

So far i have not been able to sort out the protocol.
