Button failed?

The LCD and Keypad Shield gives you a handy 16-character by 2-line display, 5 buttons and a controllable backlight.

Button failed?

Post by prophecyaudio » Mon Jan 13, 2014 9:50 am

Has anyone else had a button on the shield fail?

I was doing some testing on some code I've been working on, and the left button separated while depressing it. I noticed that one of the mounting tabs for the metal cover is disformed when i found the bits. Any idea where I could locate a fresh one?

Shaun

Sorry to hear the button fell off. If your shield came from Jaycar retail they can exchange it for you otherwise email support@freetronics.com for a replacement.

Dropped by my local Jaycar in Mandurah, and exchanged on the spot. Awesome service, and thanks for suggesting that John. Next step - relay board for my project lol
