Software debouncing

Just thought I might throw this up here just in case it might help someone. This is an example of software debouncing using vertical counters as described here. I have adapted it to suit my own needs and again here to demonstrate a possible way it could be used in the Arduino environment, but the co...

Re: Please Help.me

I really like this routine for debouncing. It is quick and very efficient, and it really does work. You will need to modify it to suit your monitored inputs. I have used modified versions of this one several times using Timer1 at around 5 to 10 milliSeconds Timer1.initialize( 10000 ); // 10000uS = 1...

Re: Please Help.me

From a quick look, you need to re-think how you are reading and 'debouncing' the buttons. There are lots of resources available to give you some information on debouncing. You would be much better off doing the read & debounce task in a timed interrupt.

Sound sensor module

There is not much detail available for these modules and as I wanted to do something a little different, I needed to know a bit more. To that end I traced out the circuit from a module so I could adapt it for my use. Here is the circuit in case anyone else wants to know. Sound sensor.JPG There are s...

Re: DMD set up

Two obvious things (without actually trying to compile your code): 1. Why do you have setup() repeated at line 30? Need to delete this entire line. 2. At line 31 drawChar() is looking for a character so ‘BHAAL' is incorrect. Maybe you mean dmd.drawString() with ‘BHAAL' replaced with "BHAAL". Try tha...

Re: Need help with proteus dmd component creation

This is how the DMDs are daisy-chained. That is not the way you are showing in your clip.

Re: Need help with proteus dmd component creation

As shown in the clip, the displays do not appear to be the standard DMDs - connections and interconnections are different. If they are, then you need to connect them correctly.
And have a look at this. It might help

Re: OLED128 and EtherMega

There are quite a few posts on this forum warning about just that problem.
You should not rely on USB power to run anything other than the basic Arduino.
Always power your 'extras' from a reliable source.

Re: where do i find files

That is an Eagle library file. Not sure whether or not it is generally available to the public or a proprietary Freetronics file.
You could try an email to support@freetronics.com.au and see if they can help.
