Re: NDRIVE hints for poor programmers

Here's a good short video tutorial; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Te5YYVZiOKs

P & N refer to how they are made, it's not a positive/negative thing.

Re: Arduino IDE 1.0.1: programmer is out of sync

I've just uploaded a test sketch to the EtherTen with Arduino 1.0.1 and it seems to work fine here.

Re: Ndrive driver module, PWM, FET open circuit

By the way, the Freetronics N-MOSFET module already has a 1k resistor in series with the gate and a 10k between gate and source.

Re: Detaching the power LED

Good option. If you are looking for low power then the less regulators and FTDI/Atmega chips the better.

Re: Known Bug: EtherTen and Ardunio 1.0 DHCP

I notice that in your code you only populate the last 3 bytes dynamically, same as I'm doing now. I assume that's for the same reason, to keep the values within an acceptable range and prevent problems with smart switches that discard packets from invalid MACs. Yes exactly, I've discovered over the...

Doesn't use a DS18B20 but I blogged something similar the other day too;

You're quite right, sorry. I was thinking of second accuracy rather than sub-second.

Re: DMD and clock skew?

You're correct in your assumption. The millis() function isn't super accurate and does not increment inside an ISR.

I'd suggest a real time clock (RTC):
