Speeding up the OLED?

I have made my own scrolling routine as the textbox scroll is a bit broken. It however still takes some signficant time to draw onto the OLED. Is there a way of running it a lower bit depth? I only need 2 colours, red and green, so if i could reduce the amount of data being written it would definite...

Re: Ultrasonic display on OLED128

char deg[3];

deg[0]=176;
deg[1]=67;
deg[2]=0; // this is for the degree symbol, and the C

This provides for you the little degree symbol and a capital C for your temperature readout, if the font is fully ascii compliant.

Re: Does the DHT22 'cache' the readings?

I also have this odd feeling that the "Read" process actually starts the internal processing of the sensor readings ready for the next read. So you are always getting the results of the last actual reading, not the current reading.

Re: 3d cube on OLED

OK cleaned up the code a lot, and implemented some Structs to make it much clearer and neater. /* Draws a 3d rotating cube on the freetronics OLED screen. */ const byte pin_cs = 7; const byte pin_dc = 2; const byte pin_reset = 3; #include <SPI.h> #include <SD.h> #include "FTOLED.h" #include "fonts/S...

Re: 3d cube on OLED

Its a bit messy, will have to organise it a bit. Hangovers from coding in Qbasic all those years ago.

Will comment it a bit more too before i post it.

It also uses the modified FTOled lib too, but i will also make note of the modifications.
