Re: Turning off the blue power LED in software?

Ya, but do you really want one with a green LED light on it? LOL You can pick up a dual pole single throw switch at any electronics store for a couple bucks. The 3rd connector on that one is probably for juice for the LED. Don't worry about the voltage rating or anything. Even a 120V switch will wor...

Re: Issues using pin A4 on Etherten (input)

Welcome to Cayenne, glad you got it sorted out! For 8 relays I'd recommend having a separate 5v power supply because it can add up to a substantial mA draw if they are all activated at the same time. Each one should be around around 20mA so that's 160mA total. It can handle it, but why push it? Here...

Re: Parallel Read

The Due designers did this, I'm fairly sure, because of the arrangement of pins on the microcontroller itself and keeping the PCB easy enough to route.

Re: RTC and prototyping area

The programmed time will reset due to serial connection issues, but is easily resolved by cutting the RESET-EN trace between the pads. However, doing that blocks the com so a wire and switch need to be soldered to the pads to re-enable when needed. I am yet to also perform this operation on my Ether...
