I need a wall adapter for the display due to having a 1m ribbon cable. I understand it needs to be a regulated 5VDC capable of 4A. All 5dc4a adapters on digikey are switching type. Has anyone found a good inexpensive source to buy from?

I'm thinking about making this an overhead display using a Mega and keypad. To do this, I would need about 20ft of wire going from the Mega to the display. Is this length of wire practical and will it work?
