John,

How's this different from the Stepduino?

Can it actually replace the system on a 3dprinter?

Re: 3D printer "smarts"

Cef, Could I avoid shorts by using a prodigious layer of Kapton tape? I'm thinking of just whacking another 2-way header in there if this is an issue. Question however, will the Mega take on 24v without breaking into a sweat or will I potentially "blow up" the board? I'm trying to run the entire sys...

Re: Two adjacent LEDs trigger simultaneously

Don't be. It's a complex board and if you get a little heat happy desoldering, or trying to be a good boy and using RoHS solder and higher temps, you can warp out the traces (they are TINY). It's perhaps also a damn good demonstration of how much awesome the design and engineering goes into a Freetr...

3D printer "smarts"

Would like to know if anyone's used the EtherMega with a RAMPS shield for a 3D printer. Like to know especially if you've managed to utilize the Ethernet interphase WHILST performing a print. Amongst raparap cmmunity, ther'es doubt as to whether the micro has enough grunt to do BOTH G-Code processin...

LeoStick HDI

Can the LeoStick or any other of the FreeTronics Arduino's be utilized to output as a HDI - human device inter-phase - system?

Trying to setup a system that will enable inputs to be "output" as a "Keyboard" when plugged into a host PC.

Troubleshooting

WORST kind of troubleshooting... where things... SORTA work... and don't fail...! Replaced the topmost horizontal board (thanks John!) after a failure... and managed to also strip the Z0 vertical (sigh). Luckily, a mate let me "borrow" a Z0 from his kit... Now... the top most LED's are acting up: I ...
