Can't Program using USBasp
Hi Folks, (Further to my recent emails to/from Daniel). I cannot program my EtherMega2560s, nor EtherTen with the USBasp interface from Freetronics. This all started when I got down to the bottom to my pile of EtherMega's R3 V3.0 and my remaining ones have 'broken' USB comms. I have programmed aroun...

Re: avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout !!!
Interestingly, this morning, It all worked with no changes from last night (after taking the !!! out last night) on both boards. One board was left connected all night, and the other wasn't, but they both now work!.
Still I won't be using !!! again.
Thanks.

avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout !!!
Hi, My EtherMega version3 suddenly stopped accepting script loading about the same time that I added the exclamation marks in some text to debug an alarm message, giving repeated messages of: avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout I've tried everythin...

Re: LeoStick install and first time use - Mac OS X
Hi Folks, I'm using Max OS X IDE version 1.5.6-r2 (On Mac 10.9.3) In order to get my LeoStick board to appear in the IDE Boards list, I had to do the following: Find the /MacBookPro/Applications folder Find the Arduino.app and right click on it Select 'Show package contents' Click on 'Contents' , 'R...

Re: New 1284P-powered board suggestions
I'd hate to see another dip (unless you used a quad pack). I'd prefer to see a clean mid range board for battery use: . No ethernet - if you need that you most likely need the mega 256. . No sd card (Maybe - I'm still between 6 & ½ dozen - it would make a nice battery logger) . rtc yes - if you can ...

Re: [Solved] Dodgy soldering on EtherTen?
Hi,
I've also had one of these come off - the surface mount usb connector came off with the cord.
I bought a new one while I decided what to do with the broken one ( I need two anyway).
I can't post private messages yet (I've only just joined the site).
Cheers,
Danny
