Load Sketch via Ethernet

Is it possible to load a sketch using the ethernet rather than the serial port?
Has there been any advance on push/pull updating over the net?

I have several EtherMega's that are setup to read a serial stream and they all lock up after a few minutes. I have the link rate set at 9600 baud but the problem does not seem to be rate sensitive. I'm not sure if it will reset the Ethernet link as well though. Any ideas?

I need to have a way that the EtherMega can be reset under software control. I need this to allow the board to run in a network that may power off and off at random times and would require Ethernet boards to reconnect themselves automatically. Wiz Heat

I was having trouble with the serial port on my Ethermega 256 R3 and I noticed that the Wiznet chip (W5100SQFP80) gets too hot to touch. Is this normal? Any way to cool it down?
